Q: What results can be expected after the treatment?
A: The hair will be smoother, shinier, more manageable, and will take less time to style.

Q: Can hair be coloured before the treatment?
A: Yes! It is recommended that hair colour be applied on the same day, prior to the Keratin treatment. The treatment will lock in hair colour, making it appear more vibrant and increasing its longevity. Otherwise colour hair at least 2 weeks prior to treatment or 2 weeks after the treatment.

Q: Can the treatment be performed on chemically treated, previously relaxed or straightened hair?
A: Yes! It is recommended to wait 2 weeks between any chemical services.

Q: How many days after the treatment can hair get wet or be washed?
A: You must wait 3 days (72 hours) before washing or wetting your hair. If hair does get wet, blow-dry and flat iron with medium to low heat.

Q: What kind of shampoo and conditioner should be used?
A: To maximise treatment results we recommend using the post-treatment maintenance products which are free of salt and sulphates and are specially formulated to prolong the effects of the Keratin treatment.

Q: How long will the treatment results last?
A: The treatment results last 12-16 weeks, depending on the client’s hair maintenance, lifestyle and post-treatment care.

Q: When should hair be trimmed?
A: Trim hair following the Keratin treatment in order to remove split ends.

Q: How should hair be dealt with immediately following treatment?
A: Avoid the following for 72 hours after the treatment:

  • Wetting hair (shower, pool or sea). If hair gets wet within the first 72 hours it should be dried with a flat iron;
  • Hair spray, gel, mousse, dry shampoo or any other hair care products;
  • Gathering hair with a band or ribbon.

Q: Can the treatment be done on pregnant or nursing women?

A: No. Although none of the ingredients are known to be a health hazard, this product has not been evaluated for use on pregnant or nursing women.
